Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

VetWall is an independent rewards platform that pays users in VeChain (VET) and VeThor (VTHO) for completing offers from third-party offerwall providers. We are not affiliated with the VeChain Foundation. Contact us any time at hello@vetwall.xyz.

2. Data we collect

To run the service we collect the following data about you:

• Account data: email address, optional username, and (when you withdraw) a VeChain wallet address.
• Device & connection data: IP address, approximate country, browser user-agent, device fingerprint, and timestamps. We use these to detect fraud, multi-accounting, and bot abuse.
• Offer activity: which offers you started, which completed, the reward amount, and the provider that supplied them.
• Payout history: withdrawal requests, on-chain transaction hashes, and confirmation status.
• Communications: support emails you send us and our replies.

We do not collect government IDs, social security numbers, or payment card data. Some offerwall providers may collect additional information directly from you when you click through their offer (see Section 4).

3. Why we collect it

• To create and operate your account.
• To credit completed offers, calculate balances, and process withdrawals on the VeChain network.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
• To improve the service (aggregated analytics — never sold).
• To respond to you when you contact support.
• To comply with applicable law (e.g., responding to lawful requests).

4. Who we share data with

We share the minimum data necessary with the following categories of recipients:

• Offerwall providers (e.g., Lootably, BitLabs, CPX Research): we pass a hashed user ID and offer-specific parameters so they can credit your completion. They may also collect additional information about you directly when you complete their offers, under their own privacy policies.
• Fraud-prevention vendors (e.g., device fingerprinting services): we share IP and fingerprint signals to score risk.
• Infrastructure providers: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), and ImprovMX (email forwarding). They process data on our behalf under contracts that restrict their use of it.
• The VeChain network: when you withdraw, your wallet address and the transaction amount are written publicly on-chain. This is inherent to all blockchain payouts.
• Law enforcement when legally compelled.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. Some offerwall iframes may set their own cookies for attribution; you can disable those in your browser without losing access to VetWall itself.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing (where required by law).
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Users in the EU/UK can complain to their national supervisory authority; users in California have rights under the CCPA/CPRA.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@vetwall.xyz from your account email. We respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within 90 days, except where we're required to keep records for legal, anti-fraud, or accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records).

On-chain VeChain transactions are immutable and cannot be deleted from the blockchain.

8. International transfers

Our infrastructure providers may process data in the United States and the European Union. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect international transfers.

9. Children

VetWall is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures (TLS encryption in transit, encrypted backups at rest, scoped database access, hot/cold wallet separation for crypto reserves). No system is perfectly secure; we'll notify affected users and applicable regulators of any breach involving personal data within the timeframes required by law.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll email registered users and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
